The much-awaited "Star Wars" spin-off movie will reportedly focus on bounty hunters.

Director Gareth Edwards's untitled "Star Wars" spin-off movie will focus on a group of bounty hunters, according to blog Slash Film, reports contactmusic.com.

The story reportedly centers on a group of bounty hunters who are trying to pull off the most important heist in the history of the galaxy, to steal the plans for the first Death Star. This event sets Luke Skywalker on his path to becoming a Jedi in the original trilogy.

This is just a rumor for now, so don't take this as fact, but the scoop says that the film will focus on a group of bounty hunters who are recruited to get the plans to the Death Star for the Rebel Alliance.

Irrespective of whether Boba Fett is involved, the Rebel alliance hires these bounty hunters because they have no allegiance to the Empire or any other faction.

Many have probably assumed that it was the rebels themselves to got the plans before handing them off to Princess Leia and R2-D2, but again, because we don't know the details of how the plans were obtained, anything can happen.
