Contrary to media reports that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin will fly off to Seychelles for their honeymoon, the newly-wed couple have opted to take a two-week break in England.

The Hollywood actor and his British human rights lawyer wife decided to stay at their newly acquired English mansion. The couple bought their new home in Berkshire only two months ago, according to reports.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have plans to spend two weeks holed in their Berkshire mansion in complete isolation. The celebrity couple had exchanged their wedding vows at a private ceremony in Venice on September 27.

According to reports, the newly-wedded couple wanted a simple break. Somewhere the two of them could spend quality time together without any interruptions.

Clooney and Alamuddin's new home is repotedly luxurious and well decorated. The mansion is also located close to a train station, so that Amal can easily commute to her office from home.

At present the house is inhabited by only George and Amal. Even Alamuddin's family have not visited her Berkshire home yet.

The couple have not even hired a live-in chef at the moment. Reports suggest that a small private catering company is delivering their meals every day. How romantic?
