It's confirmed! The most eligible bachelor of tinseltown will ditch his bachelorhood on September 12 when he walks down the aisle with fiance Amal Alamuddin. But the question is where?

For now, the very-much-in-love couple have zeroed down on the spectacular Highclere Castle near London as their big venue. According to reports, Clooney jetted down to London on Wednesday and whisked his fiance on the way for a mini vacation at the English countryside.

Highclere has been the residence of the Carnarvon family since 1679. It's currently owned by the 8th Lord and Lady Carnarvon and their family. Despite being a royal residence, the castle hosts weddings and the rent for a night would cost anything above $23,000.

Geroge and Amal could marry in the Saloon that can accommodate around 120 guests. The dining room, however, can accommodate up to 400 people.

But the thrills don't end there. The castle boasts of delectable dinner buffet with award winning chef Paul Brooke Taylor preparing some of the Carnarvon families favorites, as well as vegetarian and vegan fare. Not to miss out on the extensive wine list.

‘George loves the idea of marrying at the castle, because it’s a glamorous place he could secure,’ says the source. ‘And the same way Kanye West and Kim’s wedding guests were given a private tour of The Palace of Versailles, a private tour of not only the castle and grounds, but of the famous Egyptian Antique Exhibition in the Castle cellars could be arranged.’

Highclere would be the perfect wedding venue for George and Amal because of its proximity to London and the fact that it’s only 50 miles away from Heathrow Airport.
