Here is the recipe of frozen Chocolate Ice Cream Cake to steal the heart of your beloved. Try to make alternate cake layers, ice cream and cookies or just try mixing them all together in a springform pan. Once you are done, freeze and serve.
Ingredients required to prepare frozen Chocolate Ice Cream Cake
Chocolate sandwich cookies: 13 ounce package (extra for garnishing)
Chocolate cake: 16 ounces
Vanilla ice cream: 2 quarts
Chocolate sauce: 1 cup
Dark chocolate: 4 ounces
1 tablespoon butter
Take a springform pan, grease lightly with baking spray or butter.
Roughly chop the sandwich cookies into smaller bits. Divide them into three parts.
Crumble the cake into a large bowl.
Add 1/3 of the crumbled sandwich cookies.
Add 2/3 of a quart of vanilla ice cream.
Stir until cake and ice cream mixes well.
Place and press the mixture into the springform pan.
Take another bowl, mix remaining ice cream, and another 1/3 crumbled cookies.
Add half a cup chocolate sauce.
Place this on cake mixture top in the springform pan. Add and press rest of the cookies into cake mixture top. Drizzle the sauce on it and press well.
Cover the cake pan. Freeze for minimum four hours.
Allow cake to be at room temperature for at least five minutes before serving.
Gently open the springform mold. Re-freeze the unmolded cake and prepare chocolate.
In a saucepan, melt chocolate with butter, on low heat. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the ice cream cake.
