Given the kind of high profile cast that the movie was boating upon, Kalank most definitely was one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of 2019. The only downside to the fact is that majority of the audience who did watch the movie were not that pleased with it is the hashtag #KalankReview is anything to go by.

Kalank is a Bollywood drama-romance movie starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role which was released on April 17th, 2019. As the synopsis of the movie suggests, it is all about the hidden bed of secrets and deception and the consequences that do come along with it.

While the audience did anticipate its release, the level of satisfaction for the movie was most definitely a matter of disappointment for many. The outburst of the review on the social media platform, Twitter did more or less sum up the movie for many who were going to watch the movie at a later date.

Grab a mug of coffee and a bowl of popcorn and join this merry ride of memes that several of the twitter users boasted upon under the hashtag of #KalankReview.

1-All is well that ENDs well.

2-Ahh!! Poor Thing. When the lead actress of the movie and a scene from the movie itself becomes enough of a meme to express what the audience has gone through the entirety of the movie.

3-A  brutally honest review summed up in 280 characters.

4-That “Universal” meme

5-Listen to your “Chowkidaar”

6-That is some “gruesome” review

7-Were these torches enough though? Was there any light at the end of the tunnel?

8-Ouch! That hurt.

9-Looks like the plot was pretty predictable

10-Okay, that hurt (quite literally)

11-For those who have watched the movie already, was this YOU?

12-Do you agree?

13-Even the Indian cricketers seem to have something to say.

14-Let’s be real, how many of you did this?

15-Seems like the audience is just not happy with KJo this time

16-May your money invested on the ticket and your excitement rest in peace.

17-This is pure heartbreak

18-Will you? Will you?

19-Okay, this is definitely getting hilarious.

20-Let’s hope this ain’t you

Let’s be real, each and every one of them is funny and out of this world. People are actually quite creative on Twitter.

All that being said, liking a movie or not liking one is always personal preference. If you feel like the movie is worth watching irrespective of all the reviews, go for it.
