Homi Adajania’s 'Finding Fanny' released on Friday, along with Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D. Inspite of two big releases on the same day, Deepika Padukone's Finding Fanny is expected to do well at the box office.

Finding Fanny and Creature 3D are of from completely different genres. The target audience is also different, so neither film is expected to be affected by the other.

Finding Fanny was released over 900 screens in the country, with an occupancy of 40 to 45%. This is overwhelming as the film was made on a considerable low budget, targeting multiplexs and metro crowd.

Widescale promotion and rave review by critics and entire Bollywood seems to have worked for this queer English drama.

Early trends on box office collection of 'Finding Fanny' suggests that the film collected around 7-8 crores on Friday.

'Creature 3D', on the other hand, opened to a average occupancy of only 15 to 20%. The Bipasha Basu starrer has targeted single screen audiences. The film is expected to collect around 3 to 4 crores on opening day.

Trade pundits predict that both the films will gain momentum during the weekend. However, Finding Fanny is likely to make huge collections at the box office from good word of mouth and appreciation of film critics.
