Bollywood is buzz with reports that Salman Khan didn't want Sonakshi Sinha to be cast in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. But why? Audiences had loved the pair in 'Dabangg'.

Salman, apparently, advised Sooraj Barjatya against casting Sonakshi in his upcoming film. But Salman Khan was the one who had launched Sonakshi Sinha in Bollywood through Dabangg. Media reports suggest that

If reports are to be believed, Barjatya had finalised Sonakshi for his upcoming film, but Salman didn't agree with the casting.

Several actresses including Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha were in the race to work in the film opposite Salman Khan. But the role went to Sonam Kapoor. Now, the gravevine suggest that Salman had himself asked the director not to cast Sonakshi.

The Bollywood superstar wanted a fresh pairing for 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', and wanted Barjatya to cast a heroin with whom he was not seen before.
