Newcomer Tiger Shroff is keen to play the role of his dad Jackie Shroff if the film ‘Parinda’ is remade. However, the actor said that he doesn't want to be a part of the cast in "Hero" remake.

Jackie Shroff's son, Tiger, is making his debut with "Heropanti" co-staring Kriti Sanon. The action drama has been directed by Sabbir Khan.

"Heropanti" staring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon will release in theatres all over India in May 23.

Tiger, while expressing appreciation for the film 'Parinda', says that the film was made ahead of its time. If it's made today he would love to play Jackie Shroff's role in the movie, added Tiger.

"Parinda" was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and starred Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit. The film was India's official Oscar entry for that year.
