Shahrukh Khan's 'Raees' is scheduled for release on Eid in 2015. Shahrukh's 'Chennai Express' co-staring Deepika Padukone had released on Eid in 2013 and got a phenomenal success at the box office. And SRK wants the same response for 'Raees' as well.

But Eid has mostly seen the release of Salman Khan's movies, which had been superhits in the past. Eid is considered to be lucky for Salman as films like Dabangg, Wanted, Ek Tha Tiger and Bodyguard had  been blockbusters at the box office.   

This year also Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer 'Kick' is slated for Eid release. 

So in 2015, if Sallu miyaan sticks by his lucky date then definitely there will be a box office battle between the films of the two superstars of Bollywood. Ritesh Sidhwani, the co-producer of 'Raees' has confirmed that the film is planned for Eid release.

Meanwhile, Tinsel town is abuzz with reports of Salman blocking Diwali 2015 for his next film with Sooraj Barjatya. Sonam Kapoor will be his lead lady in the upcoming film.
