Ranbir Kapoor's "Besharam" act doesn't seem to have gone down well with the audience. Despite kicking off to a good start, the film failed to get the cash registers ringing on the second day of its opening. So is "Besharam" a Box-Office dud?

After giving two back-to-back hits (Barfi! and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Ranbir's success run seem to come to an impudent halt with “Besharam”.

The total collection on Wednesday was Rs 21.56 crore and Rs 7.13 crore on Thursday.

Despite the makers pitching for a solo launch and releasing it on a national holiday (October 2), the film hasn't managed to get too many takers.

Blame it on Wednesday release, the bad word of mouth considerably affected its business on (working days of) Thursday and Friday. With its  collections plummeting steadily by the day, there barely seems any chances for the film sales perking up over the weekend.
