Story

The story revolves round Kamal (Anil Kapoor), Neelu (Shefali Shah) and their children Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra) and Kabir (Ranveer Singh) who later meet Sunny Gill (Farhan Akhtar) and Farah Ali (Anushka Sharma). A seld made succesful businessman, Kamal who has an empire named after his two children Ayesha and Kabir. While Kamal bored of his wife is in search of a romantic life, his independent-spirited daughter wants to be relieved from the marriage life. Ayesha, founder of a thriving travel portal does not find interest in her narrow minded husband Manav Sanga (Rahul Bose) who is also a businessman. Kabir on the other hand is in distress when his father decides to sell the family plane because of the loss incurred in it and at same time he is also in search of true love. So on 30th wedding anniversary, the family plans on a cruise as a family get together which later leads to a twist.

Analysis :

The champagnes, dinky clothes, the doing-nothing-lifestyle are some of the pleasures you get to see on the the good life. But then it has missed the spark as previous movies of Zoya (‘Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara’). The film basically deals with two loveless marriages who are heading to somewhere. The film is pretty to look at and tells us the best way to lead life is by pouring your heart out no matter how complicated the things be.

Performance :

Mr and Mrs Mehra, both have showed the real sting by their performance. Shefali is the best part of the film and Anil Kapoor is not far behind. But the movie truly belongs to Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh. Though the duo have been covered in most of the frames, Anushka Sharma, Rahul Bose and Farhan Akhtar give good support.
