'Bang Bang' is not as exciting as the original 'Knight and Day'

Story :
The story starts with Harleen (played by Katrina Kaif), who is a receptionist at Bank of Shimla. She has a very boring life, even her grandmother’s life was more exciting. Harleen signs up on an Internet dating website and goes for a blind date in an attempt to find love. At the blind date she meets Rajvir (played by Hrithik Roshan). He is gorgeous, sensitive and sweet. She develops a crush on him and before she realises what is happening she gets pulled into the vortex of people shooting at him and he is hurling bullets at them. But Harleen cannot return back to her normal life again as people think she is an alias of an international criminal. Rajvir has stolen the Kohinoor diamond from London and everyone is looking for him. Harleen is stuck with Rajvir and reluctantly accompanies him as he moves from one mess to another. Watch the film to know whether the pair will survive the Bang Bang.
Analysis :
'Bang Bang' is a scene by scene, desi illustration of the hollywood hit 'Knight and Day'. If you have seen the original then there is nothing for you to enjoy other than the gorgeous lead pair of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. The script has nothing new as the writers stuck to the original film.
The film is not dull or boring - there are picturesque locales, amazing stunts, and a gorgeous lead pair. But the film is made on a paper thin script and fails to make it a memorable watch. Hrithik and Katrina have given their best performance, but the film fails to retain a consistent oomph factor. If you love stunts this one is for you.
The best thing about the film is Hrithik Roshan. He drives the film forward with his swagger and hot looks, with Katrina supporting him with her cute innocence.
Performance :
Hrithik Roshan is best at what you expect out of him. His fans will get enough scope to oggle at his Greek God looks. He might falter in the emotional scenes but then his good looks make up for it. But this is one film in which Hrithik seems to be enjoying himself in the character of Rajvir. As Rajvir he's casual and sails through his role with brilliance. Roshan is just perfect in the role of Rajvir.
Katrina Kaif plays her role of Harleen to perfection. She does what is expected of her - perfectly innocent and charming. She does not have much action in the film, but her part has meatier role than what Cameron did in the hollywood movie.
Danny Denzongpa and Javed Jaffrey have not been used to their full potential. Danny is not even half as menacing as a villain is expected to be. Javed Jaffrey is good but barely has a role in the film.
Final Word: Go for it if you love action sequence, and to watch the gorgeous on-screen couple Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.
