Farah Khan came on the Big Boss show to tell contestants how to move with host Salman Khan last year. This year, she got chance to replace Salman to host the show.

Reportedly the makers of Bigg Boss 8 have decided to make Farah Khan the host after the show got extended by one month Some reports say, Bigg Boss 8, which was actually scheduled to end on 4 January, now extended to end in February.

However, Salman Khan will host the show till January, then Farah Khan will take over host seat. Still there is no official confirmation from the channel or the filmmaker on this news or rumour.

Some reported that the production team had a meeting with all contestants to come on agreement to prolong the show by one month.

Salman's contract expires in January and he will be busy in shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie from then. someone had to replace him, Farah got this opportunity.

The production team first approached Karan Johar, and then Anil Kapoor to host the show but they denied the request and then this opportunity knocked Farah Khan's door, who is interested in the show, was asked to come on board.

In 2009, Farah Khan used to host a celebrity chat show "Tere Mere Beach Mein".
We are most pondered and interested to see how the choreographer-director will roll as the Bigg Boss host.
