Rumour mills were abuzz with the news of Varun Dhawan's growing closeness to the Shaukeen girl Lisa Haydon. However, when a tabloid asked her about this link-up, Lisa rubbished the rumours. Not only this, Lisa also let the cat out of the bag saying Varun is engaged to his girlfriend!

Lisa Haydon took to Twitter to clarify her position. She said, "I Am Single! @Varun_dvn is NOT engaged. Enough misinterpreting. Over. Please?"

Lisa, who was dating entrepreneur Karan Bhojwani since 2005, announced her engagement in 2013 but called it off earlier this year as the couple needed to 'figure things out'.

In his two-year-old Bollywood career Varun was only linked with Alia, whom he insistently described as one of his closest friends. Even Alia refuted the rumours.

Lisa who will be next seen in The Shaukeens with Akshay kumar, Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Piyush Mishra, also urged fans to watch her new release.
